DATE OF INCEPTION:

In 1982 the association was established with the courageous efforts of some elites and elders ones of the Nasirabad residing in Karachi. At that time in order to meet the arising challenges and touchy problems on Nasirabadi's in general and of the students particularly. Through this noble and gracious institution, many unbelievable and daunting tasks have been achieved which can easily be felt every where in Karachi as well as Nasirabad in the shape of good institutions, sky scrapers, adventure cum development projects and building of some meritorious and high flying students. Through her great, gracious, highly ambitious and noble achievements and repute, it has 

Got the stage from where one can easily cash and avail the every necessity of education, health, society and religion. At the movement this noble and gracious institution has been rated as the highly flying institution of Northern Areas and sure to get the stage among national level institutions. 

PRIME OBJECTIVE:

 To support the study programme of student segment from Nasirabad

STRUCTURE OF THE ASSOCIATION:

There is following two bodies of the Association to conduct efficient and smooth business on behalf of the Association.

         i.            A General Body consisting of all the members (regular) of the Association and it is supreme authority of the Association.

    ii.     A Governing Body consisting of the following office bearers of the Association

SCOPE:

         i.            Any student engaged in any school, college and university will be entitled to become a member of this Association on payment of membership fee hereafter prescribed.

       ii.            All the interested Nasirabdis residing in Karachi will be entitled to become a member of the Association on payment of membership fee hereafter prescribed.  

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

         i.            To mobilize and engage the student segment around a common educational interest specifically aimed at educational upliftment.

       ii.            To facilitate, support and empower the students in achieving their respective academic goals set forth by them.

      iii.            To mobilize the technical and financial resources available with the Imamati Institution and Jamaati Philanthropists.

     iv.            To device ways and means to main stream the students on such academic lines that will matches the dynamically changing demands.

       v.            To cooperate and collaborate with the sister institutions operative on the same lines.

     vi.            To extend their cooperation to the students in different schools in Nasirabad and different cities in Pakistan.

    vii.            To support the student community in all respects i.e. Education, health, social, sports and religious matters. 

  viii.            To motivate and activate all Nasirabadi's under one roof in order to solve their problems, celebrate social as well as religious festivals, perseverance and conservation of culture, Social rites, folk games, dance, music and tales.

     ix.            To support the village level activities and projects of every nature in the shape of social, moral and financial through expertise. 

       x.            One of the important aim of this NGO is to generate funds through the different sources like the life donors who are supposed to be part of Nasirabad students Helping Association Karachi, and the amount is set by their own will for a time period. Our workers collect the amount by visiting personally. The other main source is just collecting Rs.15 by each member of (NASHAK)

ACHIEVEMENTS:

         i.            The association have been remained a big beneficiary for the all Nasirabadi's in general and in particularly to the students community in all matters in the hour of need and exigency. under this noble institution, many of many institutions have got their existence and inception i.e. Khazinat-ul- uloom, Nasirabad band, Diamond Jubilee girls high school, Darul huner, Charsu channel, building of Local council, Tareeqa board building, Rahmet abad Jamaat Khana, Vocational center, etc.  

 Educational Activities:

       ii.            In career planning and promotion of professionalism, the association has totally diverted the absurd thinking of education sidelining and backtracking style doubted for a long time, In order to bring the student segment as par with and step in with the modern and fast age. Now the students are guided to choose new fields keeping in view the market demands in current and future according to the guidance of our bellowed Imam.

      iii.            Recently the association has fully activated and energies herself in order to celebrate with full zeal and zest the social and religious festivals and rites which has given a healthy breeze to the emerging young guns. To excel in a stream way, musical and recitation religious festivals and celebrating on the occasions.

The association’s main motto is to enhance the education as mentioned in earlier of the report. The association organizes educational programs e.g. educational seminars, quiz programs and career counseling sessions etc.

Recently NASHAK has organized an educational seminar at AKU IED in which the great scholar had been invited for presentation by assigning different topics keeping in view the students challenges and needs. This seminar ended successfully. The association has arranged many programs like short courses of computer, English language classes and different type of aptitude tests by the help of Namdar ‘local education board’.

Healthy Sports Activities:

The association arranges different types of sports program to mobilize, energized and reduce the gaps among the students in order to face challenges collectively and unity. An example is organizing a Northern Areas level Cricket Tournament at Aga Khan Gymkhana School Ground thrice, in 2003, 2005, and 2006.

 By arranging these types of programs we collect funds in the shape of advertisement, team entry fees, and donations for the association.  

The association has its own cricket team representing the association, has played many important matches on Northern Area level and wins many awards for the association.

Seminars

The association detain many seminars for the students by the great scholar, like Dr. Faqir Muhammad Hunzai Sahib, Dr. Jan-e- Alam Khaki Shahib as well as others scholars. The knowledge and wisdom provided by the scholars can be helpful for their personality building, moral upliftment and spiritual nurturing of the students, and we arrange such types of programs occasionally.     

Organizing annually merit ward citation programs

The association organizes the citation award programs annually, to appreciate the student’s efforts in their academic life as well as in the extra curricular activities once a year.

SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE ASSOCIATION:

The following are the sources of the association.

         i.            To collect donation from the Nasirabadies and donors organizations.

       ii.            To collect membership and monthly fee from the members of the association.

      iii.            To collect donation form life members.

     iv.            By arranging musical shows and other profitable activities.

MEMBERSHIP FEES:

         i.            The membership fees of the association is Rs. 15 (Rupees fifteen) only. The monthly fees of the members and office is Rs. 15 (rupees fifteen)

       ii.            The governing Body may also direct the members of the Association to subscribe any mount in addition the above mentioned subscription, if it is thought necessary in the interest of the Association.

LIFE MEMBERS:

The Governing Body contacts all the interested Nasirabadies or out of Nasirabad to nominate them the Life Members of the Association. The Life Members will have to contribute voluntarily to the Association according to the means and wish for the betterment of the students.

USAGE OF FUNDS:

The funds of the Association may be spent only for the following objectives:

         i.            Aid for the members for their educational requirements.

       ii.            On purchase of course of students, stationary for the office use and prize for the members and different kinds of educational competitions.

      iii.            Loans for the deserving members for their schools, colleges and universities dues, admission fees, examination fees.

     iv.            To organize educational programs for the students

FUTURE PLANS:

 Ø      To continue the ongoing projects.

Ø      Arrangement of advance computer literacy courses for students.

Ø      To provide scholarship to 5 meritorious students on higher secondary, graduation and master level.

Ø      To establish hostel and study centre facilities for the students but subject to available of resources.

Ø      To create a revenue generation mechanism by making life members to help sustain the projects and activities in a smooth manner.

Ø      To also look for the possibility to create an endowment fund if we could manage to find some highly affectionate patrons.

Ø      Organizing different kinds of workshops and seminars time to time

Ø      Career selection and career development sessions

Ø      Stimulate  the funds collection efforts

Ø       To adhere a panel of professionals to resolve the students’ academic problems
